Some interior mod questions (Newb asking)

Postby Lefty » Mon Nov 16, 2009 6:53 pm

I decided to make some appearance changes to the interior of my 2003 Mégane.
But as I'm absolutely new to owning a car and modding it, I have some questions.

The questions that I have:
- How do you remove the center console cover? And the cover above it at the clock?
- Is there a better way to keep aluminium floor mats in place than glue?
If no, what glue do you suggest?
- How do I remove the shift knob?

Are there manuals that show how all interior and exterior parts can be removed and refitted?
I'm not feeling confident enough to just find out myself and maybe damage something.
Thanks in advance.

So that manual is worth the cost?
I heard it's wasn't so great.
I guess for someone like me it's pure gold. :-)

The panel, I can't find a proper, fool-proof explanation for it, but I'll figure something out.

Velcro, is actually a great idea, thanks for that.

As for the gear knob, someone took the time to write me a tutorial.
Mighty thanks! I'll get on it when I got some time.

I'm going to buy the manual.
Then I have a guide in case I get lost somewhere.

I know what I asked is very basic, but you have to start somewhere.
And since it was severily damaged in a hailstorm I'll probably work on the insides a bit.

I presume the manual covers the megane with a right-hand driver.
I'll have to mirror it then.
