I'm far from an expert, but personally would peel that crap off, fit some decent wheels, and lower the thing - it looks like it's sitting on leaf springs. Oh, and the tint would almost certainly be illegal here.

Still, each to his own.

Best advice for Megane owners: sell it before it bankrupts you!

I have 85% tint all round just like that. Haven’t had a problem...

Although the all black looks well. Not so sure about the red black patch work.

As to leaf springs... Don’t Renault fit higher spring (different dampers???) to cars for certain parts of the world to cope with the sh1tty roads?

Different from the usual Lada's that covered the roads last year when I was in Moscow. :?

But in my opinion, looks terrible. I'd have invested money in nicer wheels and suspension parts before making it look like your typical gangster spec taxi.

Just my opinion though, as long as you like it then it doesnt matter what anyone else thinks.

Actually, I don't like both variants... Gave up the idea
About height... In Turkei they produce special Renaults for Russia, they are significantly higher (due to terrible roads), and so to say milder, smoother...
If you rut 17' Wheels on such cars, you won't have these advantages of Russian Renaluts...
Some prerfer to make their car lower and harder, but it's their beef....

I thought that the legal minimum was 70% of light passing through? Especially front side windows and windscreen. Puzzled now.

As for me, I can't say there are so many Ladas in Moscow.... Moscow salaries allow people to buy better cars.... Megane is my first car, in a couple of years (about 50000 km.) I'll change for something else.... Maybe Megane 3
P.S. Tint is also limited in Russia, but who cares? We don't... It costs (I mean fine) only 30 pounds (1500 rubles)

Yea i think your right... I guess my tints only letting in less than 15% dont do you any favours but look sweet.

It would depend on how big your window is, if you were driving a bus or a large van with a big windscreen you'd get away with it, i think its more to do with MOTs if your windscreen wipers touch or are within a certain distance it will fail. Police no this, so technically your car is not road legal with such a large Sunstrip.

Not a fan of the red and black meg, looks abit like a taxi, im sure you could do some things to make it look better though, im personally not a fan of matt paint though, not on cars anyway, they just look dirty.

Although done on a decent car like that exige it looks well.
