Ph2 Rear Lights

Hi,
im starting to really like the rear lights on the phase 2 megane.
i have a phase 1 megane 05 plate.
i no you can change the rear lights over, but i think i remember reading something about you have to change the wiring or something? is this hard and has anyone done it?

i bought a set from a scrapper for 50 quid and cut the loom where it goes into the frame. if you cut the loom on the old lights at the connectors its a case of matching the colours on the cables and taping them up. the indicator and fog lamp are the same colour. white i'm pretty sure, but with a little investigation of the bulb holder its easy to figure out which is which. them its solder and tape up. no problems. the only difference is the connectors and thats why you have to cut the loom.
