That’s correct, phase two light have a convex lens to alter the light beam, they are a different shape and size, you can fit the bumper with your existing lights but large gaps will be visible.

Phase 2 head lights will cost about £250 from a Reno dealer. I am yet to see an aftermarket phase 2 shaped head light unit.

In short if you fit these bumpers you will have to pay the 'Renault' price for the new head lights to make it look complete.

Unless a set can be found on French eBay.....

if you ring around scrap yards and people breaking a rear end smashed up megane you will find the headlights for peanuts, i sold a set of xeon headlights for a ph1 in perfect condition for £50 or something a couple of year ago. there is deals to be had if you look about.

im really split now. if i get these bumpers and have them sprayed. i wont be able to afforded the new lights for a month or two... will the gap look stupid? is it a huge gap?

also if i were to just put up with it till i can get my hands on phase 2 lights will everything work as it should? IE the lights will still be supirted etc etc
thank you!

why not just buy the bumpers and the lights, stick the stuff in your garage, wait till you've got enought to get them painted, and put it all on so its finished and looks the muts nuts rather than rushing it and bodging it. by far the better idea.

you dont need to change your wings by the way, stevie off here has done it and its just the bumpers and lights cosmetically but i think you will need a few cover etc for the engine bay, search for his guide on how to do it, ph1 to ph2 or something like that, you could do with checking with someone about the part that actually connects the headlight to the car, black piece of plastic at the back of the light, im not sure if the ph1 and ph2 is the same so you could just swap them, but if you get some from a scrap yard you will probably find they have them on already.

i was aware the under tray would not fi. ,y plan was to somehow fabricate the one i have to fit as i would really like there to be something there. even if its just to prevent watter getting up there.

il have a look for that guide

You will find a link somewhere for the headlights. They are app. £80 each. Do a search in the mods section. And as above, the wings do not need changing, god only knows why the fella above had to.
