now i know 275 is alot but for the extra power im really considering it. Id like to know what people opinions are on the figures hes gave, 35bhp seems like alot, 155bhp and well over 300lb/ft torque sound lurvly. Also the 8-12% better fuel economy, i currently do 70miles a day for work and get slap bang on 50mpg, if be happy if thats upped to 55 but is that really possible?

im being very septic because of the amount of money.

275 isn't bad for a remap. it's about right i'd say.

Ive seen 1.9's get pushed out more for less than £275 - I mean my Kia was increased from 90 to 130 for £200, ive also had angel tuning do a remap for me on the megane i used to own, they take forever to get the remap done, and the power gains they said id get wasn't what i got,

I was told my Angel Tuning that my 1.5 Megane could be remapped to 120bhp, come the day when i got it remapped i was told it would go up to 106bhp and it cost me £280.
after having the car rolling roaded the remap increased the power to 102bhp so i wasn't happy at all with what i got, except for the increase in fuel economy which went up fron 55 to 70mpg

OBD Auto Tune, in Ballymena remapped my Kia Cee'd from 90 to 130bhp they also gave me a rolling road test all for the £200, so ill be going back to them for my next one.

Personaly i would avoid Angel Tuning, but it might just be there NI Agent whos a b***ard

35 bhp sounds about right for a good remap from someone who knows what they are doing with this engine. But doesn't the 1.9 120 only have 221 ft/lbs as standard? I don't thing a remap would take it to well over 300. Would be nice though....

I've been shopping around lots of companys for this for a while and some are better than others.
At the minute CC tuning seem to be the favorite.

CC: The price of £299 is a fair price to pay as we write our own software and we to warrant our work for 3 years.

They reckon for that it'll push 160bhp and 380nm torque, which i thought was awesome, and they come to me to do it.

Once my filter comes i'll be placing the order. Unless anyone has any experiences with this remap?

you'll need to change the oil and oil filter for ur turbo quiet often, as one of the biggest reasons as to why the turbos go on the 1.9 is because the filter is never changed, which clogs the oil up and none gets to the turbo, which then inturn causes ur turbo to blow up.
