lol, yeah i know but hen you go on ebay to buy use there are often 230 ones and r26 ones i know there the same but if the guy just searches 230 he's not gonna get the ones only listed as r26, if you see what i mean.

n yeah if he can find a phase 2 225 go for it, agreed, lol
he basically needs one like in my signiture pic most obvious difference to look for when buying it is the different fog light and grill shape/styling...

n to his other question ppl generally have them welded on.. to my knowledge..

The Phase 2 RS bumper consists of four part numbers:

77 01 477 043 - bumper + grilles = £327.39 + vat (£384.68)
77 01 477 197 - bottom undertray plate = £60.46 + vat (£71.04)
82 00 473 512 – rubber edge (also known as cup splitter) = £60 + vat (£70.05)
77 01 209 111 - air diffusers inside the bumper (for FMIC) = £23.37 + vat (£27.46) Not needed for replica

expensive when you look at it all like that! mine was 120 complete with undertray, grills and fog lights!
also the splitter thing one other option is to go for a cupra one which at £25 is less than half the price!

How long did it take to fit the 225 back box in and did it need welding? I'm just thinking about doing it myself on my 1.9dci.

Hey Guys!!

Sorry lol been so long since I have been on here and didnt realise my post had so much views!! Firstly thanks for all the positive comments about the Megane and Im sad to say the car was sold 6 months ago due to work and travel. Just was no good for 1100 mile a month and costing too much.

Miss it alot and will soon hope to have another one.

For those who might have been interested it was sold for £2300 as you see it in the pictures. I took a massive loss but due to time wasters I just couldnt be bothered anymore and traded it in.

Its around Belfast in N.ireland so some may see it about, I hope its well looked after as I regret selling it to this very day.

If anyone needs any advise or would like to chat then feel free.

Does the 225 back box fit straight onto a 1.4 or will it need modified to fit?
