Been a little strapped for cash as a New clutch and gearbox would not alow me sufficant funds to get the bodykit sprayed....
However when it does get sprayed i will update my thread with pics..... If thats ok with Eddie !!

Its ok mate, im familliar with the phrase, but just got the wrong end of the stick... i am however hoping (fingers crossed) to get the car in the bodyshop within the next month or so.

Right, time to resurect this thread and get my arse in gear... got the GT kit to be dry fitted on Monday ready for it to go into the bodyshop 3rd week of August. I know its been a long time coming ang you guys are being very patient, just bare with me.

Tried fitting the front valance and skirts, but dut to it being of a facelife model it will refuse to fit. So it is going up for sale. See the For sale section soon.

The rear bumper didin't change and perhaps getting a phase lift bumper and lights could freshen things up a little?

Its the front valance wont fit, and the shape of the lower part of the facelift bumper is deffo different.

The rear bumper on the facelift has also changed shape. There is an added crease line running the length of the bumper (towards the bottom) and also all the angles have changed... i only know this because i fitted the phase 2 GT difusser to a phase 1 bumper.

Just had it confired tonight that the car is goingin into the bodyshop 3 weeks friday for the following to be carried out

* front & rear grey plastics colour coded
* Side mouldings colour coded
* rear spoiler sprayed
* side skirts sprayed

Fingers crossed all should go without a hitch

Gibzy you mentionned at one point the kit was called the "GT" kit? Is this the name for it mate, because my google search returned a big fat nothing!! A friend of mine mentionned this kit but he cant bloody well remember what its called either... looks really well though mate...

yes was selling them on Ebay because i thought they would not fit, but someone has told me otherwise so they are giving me a hand to dry fit them before fitting and spraying. I they dont fit, i aint bothering with the bay, and i will put them up for grabs to a club mebber

Hey, sorry if i may have mis lead you with that. It is the same kit that is fitted to the phase 2 GT, hence why i call it the GT kit. I have checked through the Megane accessoies catalogue and cannot see it in there either.

Just also to add i will be adding a LCR splitter to teh front bumper (unpainted) should give it that little something extra.
