Will just update a little more.

K&N panel filter as previous renault one was not replaced oon service ( by request) and was full of leaves and debris.

Hovered it out and fitted the K&N ... car is like a changed animal... more responsive and smoother through the rev ranges.. nice.

Problem i have now is pads and discs are low ( pointed out at service but ok !!) will i need to replace the rear hub bearings and how much of a night mare is it to do?

I'd get the new discs with the bearings in. Easy swap and at least you know you've got new bearings. If you just change disc and later the old wheel bearing goes and you have to do it again it would be very annoying.

The whole lot isn't going to break the bank.
