hi,

does anyone know if a 225/45/17 tyre will fit a 17" nervasport ok????

Too wide. I wanted to fit them too, because they come cheaper (Michelin PS3) in 225/45 than 205/50. :(

there ment to be 205/45/17 but i have 215/40/17 on without any bother.

The correct size is 205/50/17 for Megane range, and 205/55/17 for Scenic range. 215/45/17 has a lower profile (102,5 mm vs. 96,75 mm which is a 6,25 mm difference). 225/45 would be too wide for a Nervasport wheel which is size 6,5. I hope this helps.
