I just had a look at your Megane Stevie, and again its down to taste but I dont like your wheels or the Williams badges at all, but I do like your tints, I wish I went as dark on the front windows, see you had a problem with the tints around the dot matrix in the rear door windows. I had the same problem with myn. Like that colour blue on the car.

Hey up buddy like you say its all down to personal taste
Ive not got williams decals anymore ive got renault sport originals now
also the wheels are now standard 17" renault alloys but in grey
also no tints on the front as they were against the law to dark

Re: PIC HEAVY MY 2ND Modified Megane.
looks better for it, Its a shame about the front tints, Are ya goona re-tint in a lighter grade?? Like the grey Renault badge.
As for mym Im get my decent camera out as all my pics are of my phone and they liike fine on my phone but once they are blown up they are being really washed out and not doing it any favours. I will repost some soon to see if I can change some minds as like I say People certainly round my way love it and I aint just making it up.
I used to have a green Megane, same colour coding on the kit same result with people liking it, I will pop a pic of that on here.

I quite like the two tone effect tho i think the silver should be slightly darker but 600squids is IMO friggin ridiculous... you could almost buy and fit a 225 kits for that moneys... each to their own i suppose, as is stated several times on this thread

thats quite a spec you have for your car, howd u get that? i want more power and the only way seems like a remap but it only improves it by 20 or so bhp, any recommendations?

Re: PIC HEAVY MY 2ND Modified Megane.
His is a 1.9 which has 120bhp standard. Unfortunately even if you added all he has you will be lucky to get 110bhp from an 86bhp megane. If you want 150bhp buy a 1.9 and remap it.

Re: PIC HEAVY MY 2ND Modified Megane.
lol lets face it lads i have a 2.0 mapped with matched intake ect and that doesn't go any where quick. So any lesser model aint going to be quick no matter what you do.
Its off to the stealer for a 230 if your looking a meggy that shifts.
As to the blue above, looks tidy lad. Cuppra splitter looks well.

Thanks for smashing all my dreams of having a fast meggy... lol, only kidding but what you say is true, tho for all of us who are on the wrong side of the insurance its quite depressing. Would love a 225 but when your cheapest quote is in an around the £5000 mark there is no hope. What about the likes of the 150 gt and the 175 renault sport models? surely with a map and matching bits and bobs they will have some speed?
And smiley where did you get the splitter from?
Cheers

Re: PIC HEAVY MY 2ND Modified Megane.
The diesels mid range is unrivalled by many, many hot hatches. The 175 i mean.
With a remap and a few tweaks, there wouldn't be many cars that could out run it. Well without the obviously over powerful ones.
Mine is around 140-150bhp at the minute, its only got a tuning box on there not a full remap, which i'm hoping to get in a few weeks after i've decatted & got a new back box. Then it will be around 160bhp. It wont be as quick off the mark as a 2l petrol, but i guarantee it will overtake faster and make more use of the mid range.
As a clue to the power, i out ran a modeo st (the old one) up a hill, it was 1/4 up hill, very steep and at the top i was touching 90mph he was behind me (i started behind) and i could hear his engine screaming over my diesel. He turned off shortly after, so he didnt have chance to rub my face in it over 100mph lol.
Its sad that these 1.9's arent as tunable as the vw's or the vauxhalls, they are capeable of over 200bhp without any serious modification.
