new kid on the scene newb question

What could boost the performance in my car, i dont want it rapid. just want it faster off the line.

would a performance air filter do the job?

i drive a 2008 Megane Tech Run 1.6 VVT

Normally if you stick on an performance air filter on you might get a few extra bhp, but as more air is going in the engine then you need to get more air out, so i'd get a performance exhaust too.

Thats as far as my knowledge goes for modifications i'm afraid.

thanks bro would it be a straight forward job for the exhaust or do i need to get a certain make or brand i noticed alot of people using sebrings but couldnt find one for newer than 2002 models
