You do realise it will fail mots and possibly get you fined by the bobbys if they want to be awkward.
Not to mention it possibly being unbearably loud in the car, its a 1.4 so the BHP gains will be minimal and neighbours hating you if you stay out past bed time.

Just speaking from experience i did it to my corsa sri when i was 17 and i would never ever do it to another car again, it sounded like an airplane taking off, used to set off car alarms driving past them, and i couldnt actually hear any music in the car so i HAD to put a really loud sound system in ha ha.

Im probably just spurring you on to do this arnt i, ha ha.

Its called the lambda sensor, and if you get a decat i think it will just make a light on your dash stay on constantly. Im sure somewhere makes a decat pipe to fit with something to sort the sensor, but im really not sure on that one, i can briefly remember seeing something but its been a while since iv looked into doing anything like that, and i dont have that problem with the dci when i was debating whether or not to do it. I decided against it as i didnt want it to sound like a tank, although im still intrested to hear what a dci with a decat would sound like.

I got a rage tuneable backbox and full 1 piece stainless straight pipe from the manifold to the backbox fitted to my corsa think it cost me about £100 for the BB and about £80 for an exhaust place to fit a stainless pipe.

You could take all of the baffels out of the exhaust by taking out an allum stud, and slot a big metal tube out of the exhaust, with that out it was the loudest car most people will have heard, i used to toe it down the road near the college on a dinner time and i swear to god, that every person down the road would turn around with a "what the fook is that" look on there face. I got pulled by the police one day for accelerating up to 20mph, they only herd it, didnt see me, pulled me and said "do you think its clever driving that fast past the college" had to keep my lips schtum tho as i had a bald tyre and didnt fancy workign myself and getting points.

honestly it was hideous, black with a stupidly low fibreglass bodykit, very low to begin with, and a aluminium wing hanging off the back of the sri spoiler, chrome viper stripes and some custom bonnet vents, proper max power chav wagon, but i loved it, at the time, wouldnt be seen dead in it now, my girl friend gives me stick over the megane now. you just cant win ha ha

honestly if your wanting to do it, id just go to a custom exhaust place and get a manifold back exhaust made with a sensible 3" or twin 3" pipes, which will sound better than a 5" slash cut jap style bake bean can and wont be as likely to loose back pressure.

Just make sure you keep the standard exhaust to put on come MOT time, or get the exhaust place to make the exhaust so that you have an interchangable piece so you can slot your cat in and out for MOTs
