can i fit a 225 rear bumper on my 1.9 model

hiya i wanted to fit a 225 rear bumper to my 1.9 dci megane 2006 model,but the dealership said it woudlnt fit,iv seen pics of it done but wanted to know if it can be done,and did u have any problems getting it fitted

I had no problems whatsoever fitting one on my 2003 2.0 16V. Yours is 2006 and thus the facelift (and rearlift) model, but the 225 bumper is the same for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 225s, so will fit both pre and post-facelift models just as fine.

Does the 1.9 dCi rear silencer exit pipe curve down and towards the centre of the car? If it does, then you should definitely have no problems fitting the 225 bumper.

BTW, yet another dealership proving their level of knowledge...

Yes it will go on no bother, easy as to change. As mentioned above the exhaust will not cause any problems.
