Can i Make My 1.6 Any Faster

Hi All, I Have a megane 1.6 16v, and i was wonderin if any 1 knows of any ways to speed it up without mayjor work, and im also looking to purchase the 225 18" alloys, Help Or Advice Would Be much appreciated!!!!!

Try pushing down on the accelerator that makes mine go faster.

The 225 wheels wont fit as your car is 4 stud and the 225 is 5 stud.

ok thanks, ive just seen these hyperchips for a 1.6, has anyone got one or ever heard of them, and if it will make much difference on my motor?

A remap aint worth it in a 1.6 non turbo. May give 10 BHP gain as a mod on its own.

I maintain the opinion the 1.6 is a shite engine to do anything with. if u really feel the need put an kn replacement filter in it but leave he rest. it's not a performance engine. to get it anywhere near as fast as a 225 u will have to spend twice as much as a 225 or even a r26 would cost!
