Carbon Fibre Badges
I was having a quick look before, and I noticed that at one point there was some kinda CF effect sticker for the badges doing the rounds.
Has anyone priced up actually replacing the actual badge with a CF replacement?
I had a look on the net, can't seem to find any for love nor money, I did however find a guy that will make custom CF components if he is given exact details etc.
This ever been in demand before?

cheers mate. costs can vary as there's alot involved (design at full size, print and laminate and then applying it) in all took about week to do the lot from my initial idea to the finished car! But as your design anyway, then this would be a chunk out of it. at a guess, the graphics on my car, you'd be looking around £750 for what i've done, but then its almost all covered (apart from the roof, some of the rear bumper and the front wings). Small logos or design stuff is alot cheaper to do.

washing is the car is fine, although you have to do it by hand, no car washes as it could rip it off and get caught in the machine, which would be one expensive car wash! Any graphics I supply for cars are always laminated, which helps to protect the print from fading, UV light and chemicals like tar removers and fuel spills.
