Wheel fitting
With the alloys I bought, there were some plastic inserts that were in the center, is this just to help with allignment? as with these do not fit on the hub so took them out to fit alloys.

They are probably centering rings and will be different for each car that the wheels will fit.
MOMO use aluminium rings held in place by a wire circlip, the size being determined by the retailer when you tell him what vehicle you are fitting the wheels to.
If your wheels do not fit with these plastic inserts in place, the retailer may have supplied the wrong insert. However, as long as you put the bolts in a few turns each at a time, the wheel should align itself as the shoulder of the bolts pull into the wheel, negating the use of the centering ring.
