phase2 projecter headlights upgrade

Im only changing the headlights so will be making them fit!
Straight away away can see the new ones are bigger.



They fit in places fine and bolts line up underneath them.




The angle of the top of the bumper is different.



What i done was use masking tape to tape from the tip of the corner down towards grill keeping angle same as new headlights.




It fits but just needs a slight bit more trimming for bumper to go back a little more and close up that front bonnet shut line.

Were the connectors same on both headlights or you had to change them also ?

Connecters should be the same unless you have OE xenon on your ph.1

I have done the upgrade aswell.

no i dont have xenon on ph1

The connecters was the same for the light except for the height adjustment the plug is different size.

i was going to try get the proper plugs and cut wires and crimp on but never bothered as i dont adjust them anyway.

were did you get your bumper

I got it a couple of years ago its a 225 bumper that i smoothed badge and wash holes off. Im breaking the car if your interested.
