De turboing a megane 1.9 dci ?

Hi Just joined , said hi in the introduction page .

A quick question , Is it possible to de-turbo a megane 1.9 or 1.5 diesel and run it as a normal diesel ?

As it seems that allot of these diesel turbos have problems with them it could be an easy solution to high turbo replacement costs .....

Ide guess that some of the oil pipes would need joining and the hole left by the turbo in the manifold would need blanking off .

But would it work ?

Godd question, i am currently having turbo problems with my megane,
Be good to know if it can be taken off and whether it would be seriously sluggish?
