Postby Akehurst7385 » Mon Apr 23, 2012 10:59 am

Hello everyone,
Im looking to change the alloys i have on my car at the moment; however im told i need to make sure any new alloys have the same stud pattern and distance?

Can anybody tell me what i need to know in order to change my alloys to some new ones.

For alloy wheels there are 3 things you need to know to ensure correct fitment.

PCD
Offset
&
Bore

for an explanation of the above see http://www.alloyguide.com/pcd.php

For the standard Megane II you need

4 x 100 PCD
Offset between 35-45 and a
Bore of 60.1 mm

Size of wheel will dictate the profile of tyre you want to maintain speedometer accuracy (maintain rolling radius).

The Renaultsport Megane's have a 5 stud wheel pattern 5 x 108, Offset 45-60 and 60.1 Bore

I'm afraid stating 4 x 100 is only part of the information you require.
