New wheels, exhaust to follow

Postby Brownman » Mon Oct 31, 2011 9:36 pm

Eventually got myself some new wheels from the standard 16" Dynamique alloys!
However, there was a right faff on acquiring them! The first company (Wheelbase) were unable to order them in (maybe their contract ended with a supplier or something?) and so I heard excellent reviews from Rimstyle so I got refunded the money from Wheelbase and ordered from Rimstyle with Yokohama tyres! They came the next working day as promised, but the manufacturer of the wheels sent the wrong bolts to me! As they are multi-fitment, I needed 'tuner bolts' so I rang up Rimstyle, explained the problem and they got in touch with the manufacturer and the correct bolts were sent First Class Royal Mail for the next day! I have nothing but praise for this company! Very friendly, efficient and helpful staff!

Anyway, on Wednesday, I'm taking my car up to AAS Exhausts in Newcastle to get a Cat Back system fitted, I am looking forward to this greatly! I just hope it doesn't sound too much like a bloody stereotypical Ferrari Corsa or Saxo!

I bought my wheels from wheelbase also. I had to wait 7 weeks for them because they didnt stock them anymore and so had to be ordered direct from kei racing.. i thought owel shouldnt be a problem.. I didnt know then that kei racing were based in japan. LOL.

Could you give us a pick of the cat back once its fitted, theres a place near me does cat back systems, maybe get one done if it looks and sounds well,

Haha! At least they turned up! After getting my money refunded from Wheelbase, I thought I would have a look at some reviews of the company and they were ALL bad!

Yeah of course I will, I'll probably put a video up on youtube too so you can hear the sound, I have an HD camera so the sound quality should be accurate!
