Megane 1.6 VVT Dynamique to 230 Sport clone

Hi guys.

Here's my Renault Megane 1.6 VVT Dynamique with 230 front and rear bumpers and tail gate lip. New OZ wheels should be here this Friday.

The front splitter is off a Laguna and the front grills are from our German brethren via ebay.de.

All genuine parts except for the door mouldings which are pattern parts (almost identical to the original and are recessed to take the original Renault Sport badge).

A 225 exhaust back box swapped with original and mated to standard pipe work with a stainless reducer sleeve from eBay.

Respect.


(PS: I am after a pair of wheel arch infill panels to tidy the inner plastic wheel arch, which is needed when fitting the sports bumper to a non-sport Megane. Please see this thread - viewtopic.php?f=7&t=17140)

looks ace.. just need a big set of wheels and drop it down a little

how did you get the exhaust done..? Is the 225 back box a direct fitment to the standard exhaust?

Just getting a set of OZ 17's reburbed should be done and on for the weekend.

I had a stainless sleeved made, off ebay, made to step down from 60mm to 45mm. The sleeve is welded to the back box and clamped to the standard pipework. The renault brackets that bolt to the right tail pipe which in turn bolt to the wheel well lip were a 'bagger' to figure out which bit went where with the bumper on.

The chrome grills were of ebay.de
