Postby nickbell69 » Mon Feb 09, 2009 3:17 pm

Just fitted a harmon kardon plug and play for my i pod and have got a box with it to connect the aerial to. Only problem is connectors ie male and female are wrong way round. Is there adaptors to change this?

Hi matey, i fitted one to my navara, and that box your on about is the FM modulator, you may need one of these adaptors https://www.nexxia.co.uk/Car_Stereo_fitt ... aptors.htm

My Harmon Kardon kit come with various arial adaptors in it......

Thats them Andy cheers. Looking at it i need an iso to din and din to iso.
No bits in with mine just the unit and FM modulator.
Impressed with it working well just need modulator connected to improve sound.
must say fitting it has been easy and i've learned a lot of how the dash, glove box etc comes out.
Now i've seen it all i'm looking at hiding all my chargers behind dash. Hate having cables everywhere.
Started today with the sat nav, only 2 phones and laptop to go.

Thanks for the help.
