6 disc multichanger and Tunepoint

I've had a trawl through the forum for a possible answer but not found one.
Is it possible to fit the tunepoint to my car with the headunit and 6 disc multi changer fitted.

I read that the multichanger plugs into the Aux of the headunit where (I'm guessing from the posts I've read), the Tunepoint plugs into.

If thats the case, is it possible to split the Tunepoint and Multichanger to work on the one Aux input?

I have seen this covered somewhere in this forum and the answer was 'no'. I think the Renault blurb for the Tunepoint confirms this. I suspect you want to do the same as me but we are stuck for iPod connectivity unless we change the Head Unit, lose the CD changer (which in my case means the head unit CD drive will have to share duties with the SatNav CD-ROM), or use one of those iTrip type transmitters or an FM modulator.

If you find a way (I'm sure all things are possible with sufficient knowledge and a soldering iron) there are many on this forum who would love to hear it.

I heard that it cudnt be done either, however there is a growd called dension that have a similar device to the multitune point, and they have developed a spilter lead to allow both the multitune point and a cd changer to be used at the same time!

What exactly is the AUX port designed for on the cd player?? :conf

I'm sure Dension do an ipod kit that will allow the user to keep the 6 disc changer.
