HOW TO USE STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS AFTER MARKET STEREO

FIRST OF ALL YOU NEED THE FOLLOWING THINGS, (FOR SONY)

1, Renault Audio Steering Control Can Bus Interface 29-800 (RENAULT 2005+ ONLY (CAN BUS) MODALS)
2,Sony Radio Head-Unit Adaptor Lead (29-008)

NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT ADAPTOR FOR YOUR UNIT EG:E.g. 29-001 Alpine, 29-002 Blaupunkt, 29-003 Clarion, 29-004 JVS, 29-005 Kenwood, 29-006 Panasonic, 29-006A Panasonic AV, 29-007 Pioneer, 29-008 Sony


THIS IS WHATS THE BOTH LOOK LIKE 1, 2,


Its all straight forward from there, connect pic 2 to the rear of the head unit on sony units there is a blue jack hole thats where PIC 2 gets connected, and the other end in the black box in pic 1,

then connect the iso leads, one to the car an one to the stereo ( they are the power lead ones) the yellow connector just plugs straight into the cars yellow connector, as you can se in pic 1 there is a little black thing, thats a chip , that dont get connected to any think, when its all connected start using the steering wheel controls, also where it diplayed the radio station before on the display, it will deplay the make of the new unit

does the steering wheels controll work as well as it did with the standard radio???

yes got it working very easy to fit, and all the controls worked but not the display that just displays SONY

well worth the money if you wanna keep the controls,
