megane 1.6vvt cd player

I bought a 05 renault megane 1.6 2 weeks ago and everything seemed fine until the other day. when i used to start up the engine the cd player automatically came on and when i turned off the engine it turned itself off but now i have to turn the thing on myself and after 20 mins it turns itself off. is there anything i can do to make it come on on its own like it did before?

Sounds like it's not getting the signal that the ignition is on. I'd check the connectors on the rear, and any related fuses (sorry, I don't know which ones, a search should help).
