Yes. But water you often have anyway, no matter if there is "rain-stop" shield or not (i had water leakage on driver-side door and it had "rain-stop" shield).
You must did something else to avoid water leakage.

P.S.: I have still "rain-stop" shields uncutted. But I speculate for another speakers and any other need mod inside the doors.

ok, tnx.

P.S. I'm lucky with this water, I don't have water leakage still and I have my car for 6 months now...

Great ! !
I have find speakers that will fit with no cutting :hug

GZRC 130FX
http://www.ground-zero-audio.com/english/04_rc130fx.htm
It is Ground Zero speaker, 13 cm / 5.25 " 2-way speaker system...
Mounting depth is only 41mm (they are special "compo-flat-system)
Lesser depth then with Pioneer, I think Pioneer is 46mm...

And technical data is much better than Pioneer TSQ 131C
They have power 90 watt RMS / 140 watt max - SPL 90 dB - 4 Ohm

I hade GZ in my last car (Twingo) and they are great speakers!

Ivo

So, Eric, what is the progress? Have you fitted your 16s ?
