megane 225 cabasse stereo

I have a megane 225 and have the uprated cabasse stereo. In renaults wisdom they have put all the tuner and cables in the boot and all that runs to the front of the car is the 6 cd changer headunit and one cable to make that work

The one i got with the car had a problem and the CD didnt work. I just recently found a new one from another megane 225 from the breakers and put this in. I was told that i should use my original code i got with the car as the head unit is just a interface and the cd changer all the programming is in the boot of the car.

I put in my original code which it accepted and then came up with error CD and now says CD_ _ _ _. (wants a CD code)

I have tried my original code but that does not work

Can any one help or has anyone come across this before

i have seen it happen on a punto that had a front installed cd changer system
