Haven't picked my Megane up yet but I'm thinking of putting the above mentioned HU in to it - thought now would be the best time to ask my first question (and the 2nd fo that matter).

Question 1
Should I bother? I haven't obviously given the standard HU much of a try out but I assume my Alpine HU will be miles better...

Question 2
I know I need some kind of adapters to make the steering controls work but will the head unit work with the display too?

Thanks folks!

If the original headunit is marked TunerList then you can get an Alpine adapter for the display and stalk controls.

Thanks for the answers folks. Think I'll get an adapter and see how it works out : )

on a 54 plate you can't use the display but can use the stalk controls with an adapter as i bought the ida-x100 for my 225 and there is nothing out there
