Questions regarding replacing Tuner List stereo

Hi all

I'm new to these parts but you seem like a friendly buch so hoped that someone may be able to help me.

My boyfriend has recently split up with me and I got ownership our 2002 Megane and would like to replace the outdated radio/cassette player. Here's a photo of it:

I want a stereo with iPhone connectivity and found this one - https://www.halfords.com/technology/car- ... -bluetooth

I'm guessing I'll also need something like this as otherwise thewre will be a gap between the stereo and surrounding dash - https://www.halfords.com/technology/car- ... gane-black

Please could someone tell me if these will work in my car? I'm happy to ask at Halfords but worried that they will just try to sell me the most expensive radio. Also will the stalk controls still work if I fit this radio?
