Removing the CD player and other problems

My 6 cd changer will not work for me. I have tried the eject button and I have also tried resetting it via the battery and rebooting but no luck.
My CD player takes CDs in but then reads them as ERR and spits them back out
Now I need to know how to remove the CD player so that I can have a closer look. I have managed to get the radio out using pins but I can only so far, get one side of the CD player out. Any thoughts?! Really frustrated!
