Megane CC 2008 - Aux Input?

I have a Megane CC 2008 and there is no Aux input for the radio.

However after research online I found that you can buy a cable with a small green connector and attach this to the side of the small yellow connector on the back of the "Update List" radio and then activate the Aux in the radio's menu and it should work.

1) But, my question is, do any renaults come with an Aux input at all. I have never seen one. I cannot find a picture of one on any renault.

2) Also if I do get one, where shall I mount it, or shall I just leave the cable with a male connector lying about in the cup holders by the gear stick. Or shall I put it into the arm rest cupboard?

The cable is available from many places including e bay
Some people have an adaptor / plug fitted to the panel that pulls off under the radio/ cd changer

There are some pics somewhere on the forum (I did think of doing a similar install)

I drilled a hole in the little storage thing under the headunit, just big enough to get the connector through, that way i can put my ipod under the stereo
