Colour Sat nav in Megane

Postby ado » Wed Jan 18, 2006 4:41 pm

Who has full screen colour sat nav in their Megane? Original or retrofitted. I am looking at different options for the Megane as I just spoke to the dealer and Renault doesn't provide caminat 2 full screen system as an option. So need to see what can be done to the Megane.

I guess you guys are all talking tomtom? Can pick up a top of the range model for £350 so I can't see why anybody goes for a factory fit satnav when they are soooooooooo expensive. Ado if you really need to spend over £1k on the carminat try breakers yards & ebay 1st.

p.s. tomtom now also finds burger king

Can't really remember what the screen size is. I was also told that as the uptake of sat nav in the UK is so small it wasn't feasible for them to offer them on RHD cars.

I gone back to using road signs in the Clio now. Actually I just drive where I please.
