Fitting new stereo wiring issue
When fitting a stereo do you need to swap the red and yellow wires (battery and ignition) in Renaults or is there a constant live? I ask because I done this and ended up blowing something in the car (not a fuse) and had to take it to the dealership to get it fixed. Nothing electrical inside the car was working and dont want to make the same mistake twice

So far as I'm aware nothing needs changing, I've never changed any wires round in mine..

Nice one, just the stereo wasn't remembering preset radio stations or the time ect I googled it and it said to swap the two wires around (ignition and battery) I remember doing this in my corsa and it worked fine. except the guy at halfords said you dont need to do it on renaults.
I want the present radio stations but dont wanna blow my car up trying it again

No you don't need to swap the constant and ignition around as Renault run the standard iso wiring layout. Some people put there own ignition live in but it's not necessary.
