Just seems strange as to why it wont work with your steering wheel controls considering its made for a megane is all....

I think mine came out of a 2005+ car (these had canbus controls?)

Much like our cars then!?

Think is if our cars broke we wouldn't have to ship them back to where they were made to get them repaired on warranty as you would have to do with most of the Chinese units. I think its worth the risk personally though cos yours looks nice,

and also yes a 2005 Meg would be Canbus from what I understand

Hi There,

I have just purchased an item that i think is exactly the same. Did you have an issue getting the unit to fit due to wires at the back?

Many Thanks,
Joe

I once thought there was some kind of adapter you can by which allows the steering wheel controls to work

I found IGO 8 frustrating because you cant use the full postcode for navigation. IMO its not worth wasting your time with tomtom. If you can access WIndows CE on it then your world is your oyster, not much you cant do on it. That's a nice bit of kit you have there. Wish I shelled out a few extra bucks and got that instead of my piece of sh*t!

got same same head unit today and instailled it into car

the sat nav softwear is not to good as will not let you put in full post codes ect , where can i find igo primo softwear and how do you instail it on the unit please
