The Mégane II Owners' Club

Hi everyone

I'm new to megane. I'm looking to upgrade my front and rear speakers with 5.25" Orion HCCA52 and XTR for the rear.

I know the depth is quite tricky. am wondering if the speaker fits at all .

here is some specs from the web :

The depth never seems to fit but with a swiss army pen knife i cut into my door cards no problem

Haha. i have been searching so many speakers eg Focal, alpine type-R, JL, Kicker. even they do 5" and claim slim fit. but still doesn't seem to fit megane at all unless cutting the door card.

i couldn't find any pod as well. i was thinking to add speaker spacer but really just hate going thru it.

i probably just end up getting TS-q131c. sigh

my car is 5drs. i suppose the rear speaker should have enough depth to fit other brand.
