advice on buying a complete new sound system, HELP....

i had a 206 for my first car, the sound system was basic i think, it had a kenwood hu, 2 6x9's on the parcel shelf, a 1200 wt sub and one amp to power the speakers and sub, it sounded ok but not too good loud...

anyway, i dont know much about sound systems, wiring etc.. I want preferbly a double din dvd player but with great sound, i want to change all existing speakers and add 2 6x9's in a box in the back along with 1 or 2 subs, what amps would i need and how would i connect it all up (amp to amp etc..
