xtrons 717 advice??? buy/ not buy????

this is a double din stereo/ dvd etc.. as im sure you know, its cheap and off ebay, has anyone bought this?? is it worth getting?? what are common faults etc... Thanks, Paul

I have an xtrons td714g that i got of ebay. Apparently at the start of 2011 they had a software update and prior to this they were awful. Mine was post this thankfully and touch wood i havent had any problems with it. The only thing i can knock it for is that the apps have different volume levels but imo a small sacrfice for the price paid. Also after hacking my stereo wire to bits im now 99% positive its impossible to get the steering wheel controls to work with it.If anyone else know let me know
