Can you show me a picture of how you threaded the green connector from the AUX socket UP through the centre console to the back of the radio?

Where did you route your new lead to get it down to the fascia panel; I have pulled my fascia panel off and it seems crammed behind there with some plugs...etc

Just fitted mine last night, is a fiddly job but looks good when it's done.
On feeding the cable up to the head unit I took the plastic panel in the passenger footwell out (on the side of the centre console) threaded the cable out there, With my head down in the passenger footwell I could see a load of cables twisted together leading up to the back of the head unit so I followed these with the new aux cable.
I removed the 6-CD changer part as well - made it easier to see in behind and more space for my hand to go in.
With the CD changer removed I could see the the aux cable coming up - reached in and grabbed it and bish bash bosh the job was done.

New aux cable fitted and can't see any of the wires and I don't have to burn a CD every time I want to listen to a new song.

I fitted mine over the weekend, looks very smart. I recommend you all to do it, it's simple to do and looks great

Does anyone know if the 'Tunepoint' has this aux connection function ... or does it just have the 9-pin & USB connection ?

Where can I buy this socket these days and did you manage to retain full use of your cd changer?
