The Mégane II Owners' Club

Just bought a 2007 megane and fixed a aux lead to the back of the head unit.
What I would like to know is where do I route the lead to use my ipod?
Don't really want to put it in the glove box, is there somewhere on the dash I could put it for easy use.

Which aux lead did you get for this? and how did you feed it back through to the dash?

When i put mine in i just drilled a small hole in the back of the tray underneath the headunit. Works great for putting the cable away when your done using it.

Other than that ive heard of others coming up through the centre console under the armrest.

I made a DIY one. The cable is lead behind th unit and the center console, pulled behind the Debugging connector and led under the cupholders in front, in the space between the console and center tunnel. It's completely hidden when i don't use it and when i connect something it sits in the cupholders

You can get similar cables to that on ebay at a similar price as well.

You can also find the mini ISO > 3.5mm stereo jack on ebay.
Just search for "renault update list aux" - there are plenty available.
