keeping cd changer and having an aux socket?

isit possible? kits to buy? adaptations of origiginal parts (with photos/ diagrams)

could you not connect both and then switch between the 2?
does that make sense?

use an external switch DPST?
anyone got a diagram how id do that?

Your DPST switch will have 6 terminals. Something like this:

In1(L) In1(R)
Out (L) Out(R)
In2(L) In2(R)

Out L & R are to the head unit. The inputs 1 & 2 are wired to the CD changer and aux socket. These are the lives only. Keep all the shielding/ground together.
