anyone used this moisture guard stuff?

just fitted some 6.5" speakers in the front doors of my car, not the cheepest so dont want them getting all wet!!
has anyone used this product, or similar

it looks like 1" thick foam that you can get with packaging stuff. can't see how it works. it'll still soak up water and because of where it is, isn't likely to dry out quickly. so you'll just have moist foam against the back of your speaker.
i think someone used bubble wrap for the same effect but as it's not permeable, your speaker stays dry.

Yes it's foam so you'd think it'll absorb water but this products purpose is to prevent water absorbtion. It's used to protect the speaker cone from water damage so I reckon it's safe to use. Dunno how it'll work though!

i used bubble wrap!lol but saw this, apparently its impregnated with a silicone of some sort which stops the material absorbing the water, in theory it should fall over the material rather than into, just wondering if anyones used it and can give an oppinion?
