harman kardon ipod connector

has anyone fitted a harman kardon ipod connector in there meg as im look 2 connect my ipod but keep the standard HU.

i was also wondering do the screen and the control thing have to be fitted or can i just use my ipod as i want a clean look in my car n dont want them showing

Hi Mate if you have got the Tuner list HU then u cannot connect the Ipod / Iphone as there is on Aux out. Save the pennies and get a nice aftermarket one

iv got the update list HU as i understand it will work with that.

I fitted a connects2 unit on mine which was quick and easy and works a treat, it also works with my I pod touch.

does it allow you to change the song useing the steering wheels controls or is all done buy the ipod because i dont want the ipod on show.

I only have volume control on my steering wheel if you have the thumbwheel which changes the CD track then yes it will work.

I've just had a 2nd look at mine, the small button on the underside of the steering wheel control does in fact change the track...

bloody I-trip people, saves having wires etc hanging out, then you can take your i-pod anywhere with a radio and listen to your tunes.
