Head unit question

Just a quickie,
is changing the headunit on a megane simply a case of swapping, 'cause i've heard a few things about needing to take a feed of e.g. cig lighter for perm live reasons.
anyone who can shed some light on this would be greatly appreciated.

its easy to change a headunit no need to worry about ciggy lighter at all ........

only thing is if u have the flappy control pannel by the steering wheel then unless you buy the correct adaptor it wont work which means you will have to use the controls on the headunit

apart from that it should be straight forward enough
