FIRST POST!!

Postby g4ryw4tson » Sat Jul 04, 2009 9:06 pm

Hi,

This is my first post on the forum although i have been reading for a while now. I have today ordered a clarion bluetooth HU as all i seem to read on the net is good things about them. My question is......... will there be a major diference in sound if i buy and install the pioneer component speaker set for the front rather than leave the original speakers there? And my second question is if i do go with the pioneers in the front will i get away with leaving the standard speakers in the back? I have a remapped and lowered 06 1.9 dci 130 BTW. Any advice much appreciated

Gary

Brilliant, I am also looking at one of those amplified subs that will fit under the passenger seat quite snug. I am currently trying to decide between the following:

Alpine SWE-1000 - £100
Pioneer TS-WX11A - £120
Blaupunkt 200A - £100

Any recomendations on these anyone?

Gary

Although at higher volume you will notice distortion from the rear. Ihad this set up for a couple of days before i put in the rear. Its well worth doing the rear as there now only £50 from some retailers.

Better yet, use the money that you were goign to spend on your rear speakers, add it to the funds for the front speakers.

so then you have a good system, and a set of v.good speakers!!

Then you would still be left with a set of paper speakers (literaly) in the rear, as said above distorting at higher levels.

If your changing any speakers, be done with it and do the lot. Not forgetting a set of subs in the boot!

AS my previous post. but disconnect the rear speaker - as upgrading the speakers is for your benifit....so you should get the best sound, which should be in the front while your driving....plus you dont need speakers in the rear

up to you tho
