Try other Argos branches, and of course take that one back. In Argos you can ask to see it before you buy, so you can check you're getting the right one

UpdateList is the model of headunit that Renault fit to their cars. The previous type was called TunerList. The Sony GT30RN will only work with the display and steering controls in a car that had an UpdateList HU originally. It will work in any car with ISO connectors however but NOT with the stalk or display.

I got one from the stockport argos on friday - only thing missing is the speed function but i can plug my ipod straight in the front so no worries there!!!!

I have just purchased one of these from Argos , On friday 19/01/07 I asked the dealer who will be supplying my new Scenic II the cost to supply and fit the above unit, Which is in the Renault Scenic II brochure and was quoted £325.00!!, The Audio Connection Box fitted in the glove box with USB and iPod sockets is £150.00 !!!.

Hi I just got the last Sony CD player from my local Argos. It doesnt work with my 03 Megane. i presume this is because i have the tuner list instead of the updatelist? How do you know which one is which?

It should say on the front of the radio, under the round button on the right hand side.
