Radio stopped working in the cold..

My radio did not work when i went to work yesterday.
-7 very cold! Everything else worked ok.

Found out to fix it easily enough though...

I took it out of the dash, by using then ends of a couple of needle files. Unplugged everything from the back, plugged them all back in, put in the code and it is fine again.

How long did you leave it unplugged for?

My stereo has done the same thing couldn't cope with -19......

Just unplugged everything from the back then put them back in straight away, put in the code and the radio stations were still saved.
