Radio doesn't want to come on

My radio is givving some hickups. The redpower button lights up when I turn on the lights which means there is power on it. Secondly I checked the fuse and its ok. But when I push the on button it doesnt come every time, sometimes it won't come on at all, and at other times it comes on perfectly.
2. can someone help me with a diagram or schematics of the radio so that i can open it and check it internally.
