52 reg megane 2 cd player......

has any1 else got a 52 reg vvt 1.6? im having trouble finding a cd player that will work. i have a cassette player and bought a tuner list version cd player. it didnt work after i put the code in and the cd player wasnt wide enough. there was a gap around the cd player. i didnt realise i had to get the same version as what the cassette player is already. anyway, ive been looking at the correct version, the update list but will this be the wider version so there's no gap when i put it into the car? Or, do i have to get a thin surround?

i have called renault askin for the correct model number for my car but they are useless.

hi m8 just had a look and the 52 is the same as my 06 if you want the factory model you will need

Is it a megane 1 phase 2 or the big ass megane 1 phase 1 on a 52 that was change over year?
