cabasse auditorium tronic and mp3s.......

Hi,

I have a 07 megane with a cabasse auditorium tronic 6 cd head unit mounted in the dash and the tuner/amp mounted in the boot. I would like upgrade this system to be able to play mp3s and retain the steering wheel controls.

Browsing through the renault cabasse auditorium tronic manual it makes mention of 'manipulating cds in the 6 cd changer in the boot' .... follow the instructions specified on the changer and check that the cd changer is correctly closed in order to avoid foreign bodies going into the changer parts....

Does this mean that a second cd changer unit can be fitted in the boot? ie in addition to the in dash unit?
If it is possible then I could use a mp3 capiable cd changer or flash memory based cd changer emulator at the connection in the boot.

Any thoughts or information is welcome

It lists that it is compatible with cabasse but does not mention which type. The type of unit I have is the cabasse audiotorium tronic as shown here
