CD player fault

Postby sawtooth-spike » Wed Aug 19, 2009 3:51 pm

Hi Guys,

Had a search and could not find any answers. So i thought i would ask if anybody else has had this problem.

I have a 2005 Megan 1.5 DCI with the factory fitted CD player. I took a CD out of it this morning and tried to put a new on in. But it would not let me. It makes a Grinding noise, as if the motor is jammed and wont let me put the CD in.

Anybody else had this?

Guess not.

I think i might go get a new one. Is there anything need to be aware of when getting a new stereo for a megan?

Seems this problem wont go away.

Every no an again my CD player will make a grinding noise as it ejects the CD, then it wont let me put another cd back in. Then a few days later it will let me again. Its really annoying.

Anybody else have this problem? i am working out if i should take it to a car stereo shop to see if they can fix it.
